The best performers of the session on the were Shell PLC (AS:), which rose 1.54% or 0.48 points to trade at 31.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV (AS:) added 0.85% or 0.27 points to end at 32.00 and Adyen NV (AS:) was up 0.63% or 9.00 points to 1,437.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ArcelorMittal SA (AS:), which fell 4.66% or 1.05 points to trade at 21.46 at the close. IMCD NV (AS:) declined 1.90% or 2.70 points to end at 139.75 and DSM Firmenich AG (AS:) was down 1.88% or 1.82 points to 95.16.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 50 to 44 and 14 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.26% or 0.92 to $74.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.80% or 0.61 to hit $76.54 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 13.46 to trade at $2,655.54 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.36% to 1.03, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 108.77.
